It is those moments that I dream up and capture with my camera that are often the happiest little moments that make up my life. When that moment is captured perfectly, I don't know what to call them. Are they made up of luck or skill? Perhaps a bit of both? Who cares...they just are. I am going to treasure each and everyone.
Kate DiCamillo, who is a YA book author, says that when she was a child, whenever her grandmother gave her money, she would say, "It's not much, just a little oil for your lamp." Kate says that now, whenever she sees beauty or love, she says to herself, "There's a little oil for my lamp." You might think of those special moments in your life as "a little oil for your lamp."
