Seniors

Seniors are as different as snowflakes.  Each has their own passions, ideas, and personalities.  I love working with them and capturing all that makes them different and beautiful in their own way.

Sisters

They fight each other and they love each other.  It is a joy to be around sisters both young and old.

Country Baby

I try to bring a natural candid feel to all of my images.  This can be especially difficult in the studio.  This baby was a natural in front of the camera though.  This image tied for second place in the Photographic Society of America International Club Competition.

Paper Boats

I love photographing children. I love their sense of wonder and adventure. For a little while, I get to be a child again.

Sometimes, the smallest word or gesture can have an impact on someone's life. I am working on a tribute series for some of the people that have impacted me.

365 Self Portraits

I have finally completed my project for JPG magazines 365 daily self portraits theme. It has been a challenge but very fun. I am much more comfortable in front of the camera now and have a daily diary of this year's journey.

A Gift

Everyone talks about how ugly the world is. I disagree. The world is incredibly beautiful. It is only a lot of people in it that make it such an ugly place to be at times. We can drown ourselves in all that is wrong or we can separate ourselves from those that inflict ugliness and rejoice in the beauty that God has created all around us. This beauty can be found in nature...and often... in those people that are out there searching for that same beauty.
